Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2023

In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2023, nella mattinata di sabato 23 settembre il Segretariato regionale MiC per la Puglia, in collaborazione con il Comune di Bari, propone un ciclo di visite guidate nell’ex Mercato del Pesce, cantiere di cui il Segretariato ha curato progettazione ed esecuzione di un primo lotto di lavori di restauro e recupero, cui seguirà un intervento di completamento. I lavori hanno riportato in vita importanti testimonianze relative al momento in cui, agli inizi dell’Ottocento, la città “si apriva” espandendosi verso i nuovi quartieri del murattiano.

For the European Heritage Days 2023, on the morning of Saturday 23 September, the MiC Regional Secretariat for Apulia proposes a cycle of guided tours in the former Fish Market, in collaboration with the Municipality of Bari. This is a construction site of which the Secretariat has taken care of the design and execution of a first batch of restoration and recovery works, which will be followed by a completion intervention. The works have brought back to life important testimonies relating to the moment when, at the beginning of the 19th century, the city "opened up" expanding towards the new districts of Murat.

Anche quest’anno il Segretariato regionale MiC Puglia aderisce alle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio aprendo al pubblico gli ambienti al piano terra dell’Isolato 49. Per l’occasione, la mattina di sabato 23 settembre, l’ambiente che conserva l’imponente forno rinascimentale si trasformerà in sala di proiezione.
Saranno proposti al pubblico alcuni dei filmato realizzati dal Segretariato Regionale: 
 “I cantieri del Segretariato del MiC per la Puglia – dalla conoscenza al restauro” e  “Bari, Isolato 49. Memorie e racconti”. Sarà inoltre proiettata anche una selezione di filmati storici girati nella Bari del secondo dopoguerra.

Also this year, the MiC Regional Secretariat for Apulia participates in the European Heritage Days by opening to the public the rooms on the ground floor of Block 49. For the occasion, on the morning of Saturday 23 September, the space that preserves the majestic Renaissance bakery will be transformed into a projection room.
Some of the films made by the Regional Secretariat will be suggested to the public: "The construction sites of the MiC Regional Secretariat for Apulia – from knowledge to restoration" and "Bari, Block 49 – Memories and stories". In addition, a selection of historical films, shot in Bari after the Second World War, will also be projected.
